Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has lost 3kg in weight already
this summer after being put on a fitness programme by Red Devils boss
Louis van Gaal. The club have not resumed pre-season training yet but
Shaw has returned in great shape.
Manchester City will break the British transfer record and sign Paul
Pogba for £71 million, beating off interest from Barcelona, who have bid
£57m. City hope to tie up the deal before flying to Australia on their
pre-season tour.
Manchester City will sign Raheem Sterling for £45 million from
Liverpool to kick off their summer of spending. Paul Pogba, Kevin De
Bruyne and Fabian Delph are also on the list.
Real Madrid are ready to sell Karim Benzema and Arsenal could make a €25m (£17.8m) bid.
Charlie Austin is waiting on Chelsea to firm up their interest before
deciding on his future. The QPR striker is attracted by the money on
offer at Stamford Bridge, and is not keen on a move to Leicester City.
Nigel Pearson was furious that his son was sacked by Leicester City
for his part in what has been dubbed a racist orgy during the club's
post-season visit to Thailand. Following a row with club bosses, Pearson
snr was also let go last week.
After Liverpool rejected two bids, worth £30 million and £40m, for
Raheem Sterling, Manchester City are ready to go back in with a third
offer. The Reds, though, are holding out for £50m.
Manchester City are ready to make a £50m bid for Wolfsburg's Kevin De
Bruyne. Wary that Paul Pogba will move to Barcelona, City will make a
big-money bid next week to land the former Chelsea playmaker.
Despite hitting out at the club last month, Martin Skrtel is set to
sign a new three-year deal at Liverpool when he returns for pre-season
next week.
