The Blues aren’t exactly light in defence with a whole host of stars available to Jose Mourinho, but this hasn’t stopped them from moving for the Toffees starlet. Their bid, according to Sky Sports News, has been rebuffed as Roberto Martinez looks to hold onto a key player.
