Man United to swap deal on table for Rafael to Benifca

MANCHESTER UNITED are in negotiations with Benfica over a deal for Nicolas Gaitan, according to reports.

It is understood a deal that would involve defender Rafael going in the other direction is on the cards and both parties appear to be happy with the terms.
Portuguese football expert Jan Hagen claimed the Brazilian's agent had confirmed talks and announced on Twitter a deal could be imminent.

"Benfica and Man United are in negotiations over Gaitán and one offer includes Rafael to join Benfica," he said.
"Rafael wants to join Benfica. It's a big European club. If the talks proceed, it won't be difficult to reach an agreement."
